Old Powell Flute For Sale, Serial No. 842 (1949)

Classic "French" silver flute with in-line keywork, soldered tone holes, .014" wall thickness, and C-foot joint. Traditional Powell scale is pitched at A=440. Original head joint has a sweet, open sound, with an excellent high register. I have just restored this instrument and it plays beautifully. Asking price is $8,000 and a good home.
